Learn to Draw Workshop with Leonie Partridge
The drawing workshop with Leonie Partridge is coming up soon. This workshop has been highly requested by the community. There are only six spots available, so if you’re interested, you can book now. The workshop will also be open to the community.
The course will take place over three Saturdays, starting on October 12th from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The cost is $150.

Drawing Workshops for beginners’
Week one: Observational drawing still-life working with grey lead.
Learn the basic methods of observational drawing, composing a balanced picture incorporating a variety of shapes and form.
Week 2: Observational drawing still life with grey lead
Working from observation learn different ways of using pencil to explore mark making to create form and tone.
Week 3: Drawing workshop for beginners’
Observational drawing still life working with charcoal.
Learn how to apply charcoal working with light and dark to build tone and form.
Students would need to bring their own materials including :
variety of lead pencils (eg HB, 2B, 4B, 6B) 2 sheets of A1 cartridge, 1 sheet of good drawing paper (200g -300g) rubber eraser, and kneadable eraser. Willow charcoal and compressed charcoal.
