Acrylic Painting with Leonie Partridge

The Acrylic painting workshop with Leonie Partridge will take place in November. There are only six spots available, so if you’re interested, please book now. The workshop will also be open to the community.

The course will be held over four Saturdays, starting on November 9th from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The cost is $200.

Painting Workshop for Beginners by Leonie Partridge

4 sessions x 2 ½ hrs

Week 1
Introduction to acrylic mediums and brush technics.

Week 2
Observational painting. Working with tone.

Week 3
Understanding colour basics

Week 4
Building layers with paint.

Students would need to bring their own materials

Materials
Set of acrylic paints. Medium (gloss or Matt). Range of brushes (Chisel ended and round in different sizes) Good quality heavy ‘Draw and Wash’ paper, (200g or heavier). May bring canvas if desired (approx. A3 size). Small sketch book for doing experiments in.
